In order to insure that your experience is amazing, here is important information and details regarding this wonderful family event:
Name of Location:
Santa’s Christmas Tree Forest
Location Address and Map:
You should arrive at least 30-45 minutes ahead of your Session Start Time. This is a VERY popular event, and you will need to drive in, park, sign in , get a map to where we are shooting, and walk to that spot. If your photo shoot begins at 2, you should be in the parking lot and out of your car by 1:30pm.
What to expect when you arrive:
These details were provided by the Tree Forest:
“Santa’s Farm staff will greet all of your clients at the gate, show them the facilities, and inform them of your location. Google Maps will correctly map to our location at 35317 Huff Rd., Eustis, FL. Clients should be advised to arrive well in advance of their scheduled appointments to allow plenty of time for changing clothes, using the restroom, and getting to your location.
Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase, and you may choose to bring a cooler of drinks in your car. During our Photography Days, Santa’s Farm is only open to professional photographers, allowing you to get the best possible shots with your clients.
We will not be open to the general public, and to maintain a more quiet and professional atmosphere, attractions will not be available. Wagon rides are often busy, so they are guaranteed for transportation only and not for pleasure rides. Wagons are not wheelchair accessible, so choose a spot close to the entrance if you will be photographing clients with disabilities.
Christmas tree sales will not be available. However, petting zoo animals will be available for visiting and feeding. The farm is very sandy and without paved surfaces, heels and flip flops are difficult to walk in, and a change of clothes or shoes may be advised.
Please be sure to inform your clients of these details, as unrealistic expectations can cause disappointment and anger.
In the event that severe storms are forecasted, we will send an email by 2:00 PM the day before the event to cancel and offer rescheduling options. Light showers and lower chances of rain will not be cause for cancellation or rescheduling.”
What to Wear:
If you haven’t already spoken with Marjorie, text her to get good guidance on what to wear 4078734951. There will not be time for wardrobe changes beyond bringing coats, hats, and scarves to emulate “winter” photos. Note from the Tree Forest – you will be walking in sandy areas.
What to Bring:
Due to Covid restrictions and out of a measure of caution, we will not be supplying props or furniture for this year’s event. You are welcome to bring signs, tree decorations, and other props. Bear in mind everything for your “scene” must be able to be set up quickly in order to maximize the shooting time. Don’t bring more than can be set up in less than a minute or two.
Pet are allowed! Clients are permitted to bring pets to their photo shoots. Bring fresh water as well as supplies to clean up after your pet.
